Jessie France


At Huronlea Brussels on Monday, Dec. 26, 2011, Jessie France of Wingham, age 96 years.
The former Jessie Richmond, beloved wife of 61 years of the late Harold G. France who predeceased her in 2006. Loving mother of Greta and Ross Heinmiller of Kitchener, Barbara McDonald of Goderich and Sheila and John Nixon of Belgrave. Lovingly remembered by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, special nephew Bruce Richmond "My Wee Bruce", and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents James and Marianna (Maller) Richmond, her son-in-law Grant McDonald, three sisters and one brother.
Visitation was at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Wednesday, Dec. 28 from 12 noon until 1 p.m. The funeral service was held at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, Dec. 28 at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Richard D. Hall officiated. Interment in Wingham Cemetery.
Memorial donations to Wingham and District Hospital or Leukemia Research (Sick Kids) would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

Stephen Joseph Moran



Stephen Joseph Moran of Wingham passed away at Wingham & District Hospital on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 51 years of age.
Beloved husband of the former Sheryl Dyck. Loving father of Daniel and Kegan both at home. Dear brother of Ted & Lois Moran of Belgrave, Barry & Terry Moran of Ambleside, Jim & Colleen Moran of Teeswater, Carol & Keith Galbraith of Whitechurch and Kelly & Donna Moran of Teeswater. Son-in-law of Nettie Skelton of Calgary. Also remembered by two aunts, one uncle and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents John & June (Everick) Moran and his father-in-law Ben Dyck.
A celebration of Stephen’s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Wingham, Branch 180 on Friday at 7:30 pm.
Memorial donations to Royal Canadian Legion Wingham, Branch 180 or F.E. Madill Music Program would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

Audrey Bumstead



Audrey May Bumstead (nee Pottage) of Wingham died peacefully at Wingham District Hospital on Monday, Jan. 9, 2012 at the age of 91.
Dearly beloved wife of the late Garnet Bumstead. Loving mother of Lorraine Clugston and her husband Hugh of Wingham, Doreen Crits and her husband John and Ken Bumstead and his wife Nora of Strathroy. Proud grandmother of eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Dear sister of Jean Cramp of Meaford.
Predeceased by her parents Levi and Ellen Pottage, her brothers Ray (Elsie) Pottage and Harvey (Verna) Pottage, her twin sister Mildred (Ernest) Wood and her brother-in-law Elwood Cramp.
Friends called at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound (519-376-7492) on Thursday, Jan. 12 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  A funeral service for Audrey Bumstead was held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, Jan. 13 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Bruce Jones officiating. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery, Meaford.
