Grace Hodgkinson

At Braemar Retirement Centre on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010, Mrs. Grace Hodgkinson of Wingham, age 90 years.
The former Grace MacLeod, wife of the late Wilbert Edgar Hodgkinson (1986). Mother of Kenneth and Bonnie Hodgkinson of Listowel and Keith and Barbara Hodgkinson of Wingham. Loving grandmother of Marc (Patti), Michael (Jessica), Matthew (Sheila), Bradley and Jeffrey. Great-grandmother of Brett, Katelyn and Makayla; and great-great-granddaughter Cyrena.
Also survived by her sister-in-law Jean MacLeod of Lucknow. Special friend of Anne and Cecil Yeoman of Wingham.
Predeceased by her brother Lawrence and daughter-in-law Ruth.
Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service was held at the funeral chapel on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Bernard Skelding officiating. Spring interment in Greenhill Cemetery, Lucknow.
Memorial donations to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation or St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

 Isabel MacPherson

Isabel Jane MacPherson (Elliott) of Lucknow died Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010 at Wingham & District Hospital at the age of 75.
Beloved wife of William MacPherson, whom she married on Sept. 4, 1954. Born in East Wawanosh Township on July 23, 1934 to the late Gordon Elliott and Agnes (Mitchell).
She will be sadly missed by her children: Beverley (Jim) Yundt of Kincardine, Gail (Steve) Caslick of Kincardine, Janet (Kevin) Murray of Ripley, Margie MacPherson of Lucknow, Stephen (Carol) MacPherson of Lucknow, and Larry (Debbie) MacPherson of Elmira. She is survived by 17 grandchildren: Jim Morrison, Jenelle Morrison, Joel Caslick, Mike Caslick, Jeff Caslick, Jillene Yundt, Kristen Yundt, Greg Yundt, Travis MacPherson, Tyler MacPherson, Cole MacPherson, Megan Trachsel, Jade MacPherson, Amber MacPherson, Bradley Murray, Lacey Murray, and Lindsay Murray. She is also survived by her brother Walter (Ila) Elliott, Whitechurch, mother-in-law Janet MacPherson of Lucknow, brother-in-law Don (Susan) Campbell of Strathroy, sisters-in-law Margaret Black of Lucknow and Isabelle (Fred) Thompson of Mississauga, and many nieces and nephews.
Isabel was predeceased by her brother Mitchell Elliott, sister Marjorie Campbell, and sisters-in-law Kathleen Elliott, and Mildred Elliott, and brother-in-law Keith Black.
A celebration of life service was held at the Lucknow and District Community Centre on Wednesday, Jan. 13 at 2 p.m. Rev. C. Harvey officiated. Visitation was conducted for two hours prior to the service from 12-2 p.m.
