SERVICE AWARD — North Perth Outlaws Lacrosse president Doug Kemp recently presented an award of appreciation to Susan Underwood for outstanding performance and help within the club. Underwood is the treasurer of North Perth Outlaws Lacrosse and Kemp said,  “Sue has been a tremendous worker in many facets within the club and lends a hand in more than just the bookkeeping portion assigned to her. She has been trustworthy, accountable and a pleasure to deal with.” After being sidelined for a season while Underwood dealt with her battle with cancer, when the club’s books were in disarray, she was asked to sort them out to the way they were before she left. Underwood agreed and has since returned as full-time treasurer, making a difference in the club’s operation. The award is provided by Zone 8 of the Ontario Lacrosse Association and recognizes excellence in club volunteers. (submitted photo)
