The Wingham Novice Rep team travelled to Ripley for a very exciting game, Saturday.  
Ripley prevailed 5-4 although Wingham put in an excellent team effort.  
Scoring for Wingham were Josh Pham and Brenden Gallaher, each with two goals.  Assists went to Hayden Robinson (two), Thomas Gangl, Reece Houghton, Darby Kikkert, Tyson Michie and Mac Mulvey.  Performing solidly in net was Garett Golley and despite playing with only three defensemen, the Novice defenders gave a great effort.
On Sunday, Jan.  31, the team came up short against an improving Blyth team 5-2.  Scoring for Wingham was Brenden Gallaher (two) with an assist to Garret Golley.  The Novice Reps play next on Saturday, Feb.6 against Ripley in Wingham.
