Margaret Ivadell MacDonald
Margaret Ivadell MacDonald (Leeson) of Walkerton, and formerly of Teeswater, passed away at Brucelea Haven, Walkerton on Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2010 at the age of 93.
She was born in Greenock Township on May 20, 1917 to the late Richard and Alvina (Miller) Leeson. Ivadell was a member of the Teeswater Rebekah Lodge.
Beloved wife of the late Stewart MacDonald who predeceased her in 1991.
Dear mother of Robert MacDonald and his wife Carol of Culross Township, Ronald MacDonald and his wife Lois of Appin, James W. MacDonald and his wife Marjorie of Orangeville and Gayle Koolen and her husband Peter of Aylmer. Sadly missed by 15 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Also survived by sisters Florence MacDonald of Barrie, Bernice Bell of Walkerton and Audrey Johnson of Kitchener. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by son David (1954), one great-grandson, daughter-in-law Dearle, four sisters and three brothers.
Visitation was held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater on Thursday, Aug. 19 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., with the funeral service in the chapel on Friday, Aug. 20 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Chuck Moon officiating.
Floral tributes were carried by granddaughters Amy MacDonald, Julia MacDonald and Nicole Barker. Carrying Ivadell to her final place of rest in Culross-Teeswater Cemetery were grandsons Richard MacDonald, David MacDonald, Alan MacDonald, Andy Koolan, Tim Koolan and Mike Koolan.
Memorial donations to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

Susan Hyndman
Susan Hyndman (nee Sinclair) passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Hospice Wellington on Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2010 at the age of 60.
Susan was the beloved wife of Jim Hyndman, and the loving mother of Kelly and Jennifer. Dear sister of Cathy Matthews and Rob (Susan) Sinclair. Susan will be missed by her many relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Marjorie Sinclair, and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dorothy and Harold Hyndman.
A memorial service was held at Harcourt Memorial United Church, Guelph on Monday, Aug. 23 at 1 p.m., followed by inurnment at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Lillian Lorenz
Lillian Mavis Lorenz (Robinson) of Hanover and formerly of Teeswater passed away at The Village Seniors Community in Hanover on Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2010 at the age of 76.
She was born in Pembroke, Ontario on July 8, 1934 to the late Louis and Ada (Pratt) Robinson.
Beloved wife of the late Melville Lorenz who predeceased her in 1986. Dear mother and mother-in-law of Bonnie Strauss and her husband John of Elora, Wayne Lorenz and his wife Janet of Teeswater, Cindy Schlorff and her husband Merv of Walkerton, Nancy Hedley and her husband Gary of Teeswater, Kathy Lorenz of Neustadt and Delphine Lorenz of Elmira. Missed by 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Also survived by her sisters Barb Davidson of Waterloo and Audrey Knarr and her husband Bob of Elmira, and her brother Owen Robinson and his wife Norma of Toronto. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by sons Doug Lorenz and Jim Lorenz, two grandchildren in infancy, sister Fern Henderson and two brothers Frank Robinson and Des Robinson.
Visitation was held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater on Saturday, Aug. 21 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service was conducted at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, Mildmay on Sunday, Aug. 22 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Christine Rehkopf officiating.
Flower bearers were granddaughters Vanessa Lorenz, Melanie Hedley and Melinda Schlorff. Carrying Lillian to her final place of rest in St. Matthew’s Lutheran Cemetery, Mildmay were grandsons Chris Strauss, Rodger Lorenz, Jason Schlorff, Luke Lorenz, Lyle Lorenz and Mark Hedley.
Memorial donations to St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

Mary Halliday
Mary Logan Halliday (Armstrong) of McVean Lodge, Hanover and formerly of Culross Township passed away with her family at her side at Hanover & District Hospital on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010 at the age of 90.
She was born in Culross Township on Feb. 20, 1920 to the late Bert and Euphemia (Little) Armstrong.
Beloved wife of the late Allan Halliday who predeceased her in 1999.
Dear mother of John Halliday and his wife Carol of Owen Sound, Jean Culliton and her husband John of Teeswater, Wally Halliday and his wife Carol of Walkerton, Andy Halliday and his wife JoAnn of London and Claire Halliday and his wife Mary Bawn of Holland Centre.
Sadly missed by 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her sister Anne Leeson and brothers Hugh Armstrong and Mac Armstrong.
Visitation will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Teeswater (today) Wednesday, Aug. 25 from 12 noon until the time of the memorial service at 2 p.m. with Marilyn Robertson officiating. Final resting place Culross-Teeswater Cemetery.
