The Wingham Ninjas soccer team suffered their first loss of the year recently to a strong Brussels team by a 2-0 score, with Thomas Gangl making several key stops.
The Ninjas rebounded with a 4-1 win over Blyth #1 with Josh Pham and Zack Tedesco each scoring one and Jordan Pham notching two goals.
Dustin Bakalar and Samantha Schuit played a strong game, as did all the Ninjas.
Last week a strong Blyth #2 team defeated the Ninjas 3-1, with Jared Shearer getting the lone goal for Wingham.
The Ninjas play the strong Wingham #2 team tonight (Wednesday) at Upper Madill field.
