The WOAA Midget fastball team won two games and lost one in the last two weeks.
The boys traveled to Teeswater June 8 and handed the home team a 4-1 defeat.
Adam Cronin tripled and Kyle Johnston homered to put the visitors up 2-0 in the first inning before Tyler Stevenson and Johnston scored again for Wingham in the fifth.  Derek Ditner tripled and scored on a pass ball to give Teeswater its only run.
Adam Cronin went the distance on the mound for the winners.
In Durham, the game turned into a pitchers’ dual with George Armstrong on the mound for Wingham and Big Luke throwing for Durham.
The third batter in the first inning for Durham went yard-off on Armstrong to give the home team the lead, but that was it for Durham with Wingham coming back to win 3-1.
Justin Burgers planted a long homer over the fence to even the score in the third and in the next inning, Kyle Machan laid down a perfect bunt to gain first before he and Jason DeVos were knocked in by a Cronin double to seal the win.
Armstrong went the distance for the Falcons.
In Chesley, the boys carried a 4-2 lead into the fifth inning but allowed the home team to score seven times in the same inning on some missed plays and two hits and lost 9-5.
Scoring runs for Wingham were Armstrong, Cronin, Tyler Black and Collin Whitfield. The next home games are July 6 and 8 versus Durham and Teeswater.
The OASA Falcons will compete in the elimination tournament in Owen Sound this weekend with their first game Friday at 5 p.m. versus Kitchener/Waterloo.
